I’m about to launch tomorrow morning. Not in the sense of a completed site launch, but one that I hope my intuition is steering me right. When I first imagined the project, i thought of all of the things I wanted to do: advocacy, articles, resources, fun, forum community, help app, and so on. I gave myself a target of a month to get the basic site up and running, just the news part to start. I’ve had a paid subscription to chatGPT over the past year, and have gained a ton of insight into how it can help my productivity.
I don’t want to over dramatize here, but here goes: having an option like this has saved my life. Seriously. Ok, you can go now if this feels too dramatic.
But I’ll lay out the logic. It really is just follow the clues. Being able to interact with AI did this for me:
- It was accessible round the clock, 24/7. It gave me total freedom to brainstorm, to ask questions, to debate, test, and explore things.
- Even though it cautioned me that it doesn’t have the capability to be a mental health therapist, it IS able to do many of the things that I try to gain when i do have therapy appointments. It gives feedback, asks questions, gives observations. It is like a sculptor having a fellow sculptor be always present and a source of feedback whenever the need arises.
As this site solidifies over the coming days and weeks and months, I’m hoping to share more of the steps that brought me to this project. It truly was an accidental discovery. There’s so much I want to talk about, but like that Seinfeld episode, I don’t want to take you to patting your head like crazy wanting to get out of here.
Soooooo, I will invite you to take in whatever you want. If the articles help, great. If you love the forum, great. If you are curious about me and my shaking hands that can’t hold a coffee steady, then I love that too. Pull up a chair wherever you want, or explore the garden or the grounds. I’m not rich, but the yard has grass, so that’s a real comfort.

I love what this project has brought to me. and like Chad, I can’t believe it’s been 2 weeks. I must be waking up from something.
