Comment & “How’s Your Day?” Submission Standards

Last revised — August 21, 2026

Purpose

Comments and “How’s Your Day?” submissions are meant to make it easy for readers and gig workers to contribute real experiences without having to write a formal article.

What Fits

Useful submissions can include a frustrating delivery, a great customer, a strange app moment, a useful tip, a small victory, an unexpected kindness, a funny incident, or something that simply captures what the day felt like.

Keep It Real

Ordinary language, regional accents, pauses, laughter, irritation, and imperfect delivery are welcome. Contributors do not need to perform for us.

Facts Still Matter

If a submission makes a significant factual claim about an identifiable person, company, or event, SOAPSzone may ask for additional information or supporting material before using it as reporting.

Privacy

Contributors can ask to be anonymous or to have identifying details removed. We may also edit media to reduce unnecessary exposure.

Short Is Fine

A useful contribution can be ten seconds long or a few sentences. The point is the experience, not production value.

Humour Is Welcome

Some days deserve documentation. Other days deserve documentation plus a very long sigh.

Reuse

A contribution may appear in an article, compilation, social clip, recurring feature, or other SOAPSzone format when that use is consistent with the contributor’s permission.

Working Rule

Do not make people perform for us. Give them a small opening, then let them bring the real world through it.
