AI Use and Research Transparency

AI Is a Tool

SOAPSzone uses artificial intelligence as a research, organization, analysis, brainstorming, editing, and production tool. AI is not treated as an authority and does not replace evidence.

Human Editorial Responsibility

Responsibility for what SOAPSzone publishes remains with SOAPSzone. Important factual claims should ultimately be grounded in reliable source material, direct reporting, public records, expert information, or other evidence that can be evaluated.

Research Assistance

AI may help identify questions, compare documents, organize timelines, spot inconsistencies, summarize large bodies of material, generate research leads, or suggest areas that deserve verification.

Verification

AI-generated claims can be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or misleading. Material that matters to a story should be checked against appropriate sources rather than published simply because an AI system produced it.

Transparency

Where AI’s role is material to understanding how a piece was produced, SOAPSzone may explain that role. We do not need to attach a machinery inventory to every sentence.

Multiple Tools

Different AI systems may be used for different strengths, including research, analysis, cross-checking, drafting, or technical work.

Source Material Still Wins

When an AI summary conflicts with the underlying document, the document wins.

AI and Voice

AI can help shape and organize language, but the editorial values, judgments, humour, and responsibility belong to SOAPSzone.

Working Rule

Use AI to expand the radius. Do not let it replace the center.
