Corrections Process — Visible & Usable

Last revised — August 21, 2026

Purpose

A corrections policy only matters if readers can actually find and use it. This page defines the practical public path for reporting possible errors, asking for clarification, and understanding what SOAPSzone does when something needs to be fixed.

How to Send a Correction

Use the SOAPSzone contact form or email soapszone@gmail.com. Identify the story or page, explain what appears to be wrong or incomplete, and include any supporting information you have. You can still raise the concern if you do not have supporting material.

What Happens Next

SOAPSzone reviews the original material, source documents, notes, screenshots, correspondence, or other evidence relevant to the concern. We may contact the person raising the issue or another source for clarification.

If We Got It Wrong

Meaningful factual errors should be corrected promptly once verified. We should not quietly rewrite a significant error as though it never happened.

Clarifications

Sometimes the original statement is technically accurate but incomplete, confusing, or capable of leaving a misleading impression. In those cases, a clarification may be more appropriate than a correction.

Suggested Public Wording

Think we got something wrong? Tell us. Please include the story or page, what you believe needs correcting or clarifying, and any supporting information you have. We’ll review it.

Minor Fixes

Typos, formatting problems, broken links, and other small fixes that do not change meaning can normally be corrected without a formal correction note.

Disagreement Is Not Automatically an Error

We do not change a story simply because somebody dislikes the conclusion, framing, criticism, or advocacy position. We review the underlying facts and change the work when the evidence warrants it.

Working Rule

Make it easy to tell us we’re wrong — and just as easy to see what we did about it.
