The original Home-screen Launch button had been a placeholder. Prompt eleven made it real.
Launch now became an orchestrator. It read the driver’s selected platforms, created one session ID, handled Android’s recording consent at the right moment, started the recording flow, showed floating controls when possible and then opened the selected delivery app. If both DoorDash and Uber Eats were selected, the driver could choose which one to open first.
We also specified graceful failure. If a delivery app was not installed, GigDriver Utilities should say so and continue rather than crash or automatically throw the user into an app store. Repeated taps on Launch should not create duplicate sessions.
This was the point where several previously separate pieces began acting like one product. Settings, recording, overlays and external app launching were no longer isolated experiments. They were becoming a coherent working session.
